Although it doesn’t have a vast number of functions the Epson Stylus S21 still manages to impress for a cheap printer. What is most impressive about the S21 is its quality of print it using Epson S21 ink cartridges containing DURABrite ink which helps give crystal clear results every time Epson claim. This comes at a price however with a full set of printer ink cartridges costing nearly as much as the printer does, cheaper compatible printer cartridges are available, however these cartridges don’t contain DURABrite ink. Although it not a photo printer the Stylus S21 can still produce great looking photo prints on a wide variety of paper media as well as being able to print all the everyday documents such as emails and letters. The S21 has been well designed its very compact so doesn’t take up too much space on a desk and the built quality feels solid, which is a surprise as most budget printers feel like they could fall to bits at any moment. The S21 comes with the basics in terms of bundled software, the printer drivers and digital user manual and that’s about it. An important note is like every Epson printer the Stylus S21 doesn’t come with a USB cable so you must purchase one separately.
